Chief Operating Officer | Managing the Business & Operations

Notipal needs a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the business operations (be it finance, cash flow, setting milestones and meeting projections), to take charge of the day-to-day business activities, and to build the business development opportunities around the Notipal brand for SME, to large scale corporations.

Qualifications:

You'll have business management experience, a proven track record of implementing strategies & systems that create and deliver a firm's products/services (particularly those required to win business with corporate clients), and an ability to handle the always-exciting business aspects of an up & coming Web start-up.

Remuneration:

Notipal is a recently launched start-up, so we're open to shareholding-based remuneration. You'll be considered as one of the founding team, and will be rewarded as such.

Chief Technology Officer | Leading the Technology

Notipal is looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to take charge of the existing Rails code base, optimize it through intelligent refactoring and performance boosting techniques, and to develop/deploy exciting new features on the Notipal product roadmap. The CTO will also be looking to blueprint the cutting-edge code management and development workflows (feedback loops, a/b testing, specs, Git management, CI, etc) that are required for successful development team and when introducing new developers to a growing code base.

Qualifications:

You'll most likely be fluent in Ruby (if not a another programming language too), the Rails framework, scaling techniques, MySQL, aspects of server administration (Passenger, Nginx, etc), subscription billing, payment providers, and leveraging third-party APIs. However, a willingness to learn new techniques/tools/languages, in combination with a promising resume, will outweigh the need for years of experience.
